JEFFERSON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Several fire departments were called in to battle a fire in Jefferson Township Thursday.

Crews were called to a vacant house at the corner of Germantown Pike and Frytown Road around 10:00 a.m.

Jefferson Township fire crews had to call for help from both the Moraine and Dayton fire departments.

Firefighters say there is a lot of damage inside the house.  They say a wood floor helped fuel the fire.

The investigation into how it started is underway.
