DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A high school student says he was robbed at gunpoint on the way to school Thursday.

A Dayton police report says the teen was walking in the 200 block of Main Street when he was pushed to the ground. He was making his way to school at the Dayton Early College Academy on Brown Street.

The report says the victim’s iPod, cell phone and headphones were stolen.

The victim told officers the suspect asked him “Are you scared?” and mentioned a teen’s name as the person to thank.

Police believe the robbery may be connected to a scuffle among students on Wednesday.

The victim says his attacker is in his late teens or early 20s, 5’4″, 120 pounds with freckles under his eyes.

He says he was wearing a black/gray fleece hoodie and had a tan colored book bag.

The suspect was reported to be wearing a mask over his face and pointed a handgun at the victim.

Call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867 if you know anything about the crime.
