DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Another gun was confiscated at the Dayton International Airport.

TSA employees spotted the semi automatic pistol inside a man’s carry-on luggage as it was being x-rayed at security.

The man told authorities he didn’t realize the gun was in the bag. He thought it was left in his car.

The gun’s owner does have a valid carry permit.

The gun was confiscated pending further investigation.

The man was allowed to continue on with his travel.
