Clark County nurse accused of stealing drugs

MOOREFIELD TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A Clark County nurse is facing theft charges after being accused of stealing a patient’s medicine.

Trudy Jernigan, 50, of Springfield, is accused of stealing at least seven doses of Oxycodone from the Foest Glenn Nursing home and a female resident.

The Clark County Sheriff’s office began an investogation last August when they recieved a report from the nursing home that a resident did not recieve her medication.

Jernigan is charged with two counts of felony theft and has been ordered to appear in Clark county Municipal Court on Nov. 10.
