COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) – It appears that Wendy’s is cutting jobs nationwide.
The Dayton Business Journal is reporting that the burger chain is making $30-million in cost reductions.
It says Columbus Business First says not only will it affect jobs at restaurants, but also its Dublin Restaurant Support Center.
The report quotes a Wendy’s spokesperson as saying, “We are not providing the anticipated number, pending discussions with impacted employees,” spokesman Bob Bertini said via e-mail. “We will provide severance, outplacement and other assistance to help these employees transition as well as possible.”
