DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two people end up behind bars after several hit-and-run incidents.
Timothy Bowermeister, 29, was arrested on drug possession charges. Crystal Profitt, 31, was arrested on charges of felonious assault.
Police responded to a fight in the 700 block of Xenia Avenue Saturday after 6:30 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene they were flagged down by Timothy Bowermeister who said Crystal Profitt attempted to run him over with her car after they got into an argument.
Bowermeister said the two got into a fight because he refused to have sex with her earlier. He said he was getting things out of the car when Profitt put the car in reverse and tried to run him over.
Officers found that Bowermeister was a suspect in two earlier hit-and-run incidents at Rally’s and Speedway. He told police he was home the entire time and didn’t know anything about the incidents.
When they patted Bowermeister down they found a baggie of pills. He told officers that the prescription drugs belonged to Profitt.
Police caught up with Profitt at her home.
Both suspects were booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
