Burglary suspect caught in the act

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A burglary suspect is caught in the act.

Police were called to the 300 block of Antietam Avenue Saturday after 4:30 p.m.

The homeowner told police two men kicked in his front door and then took off out the back door after stealing a chain necklace.

Police caught up with 19-year-old Londell Johnson and arrested him on burglary charges.

Officers said when performing a pat down they found a necklace in Johnson’s pocket. The necklace was returned to the homeowner.

Police didn’t find the other suspect.

Johnson is expected in court Monday.
