JEFFERSON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Montgomery County deputies hope the arrests of two teenagers Monday will end a string of burglaries in Jefferson Township.

Deputies were called to the Ridgewood Heights neighborhood to check out suspicious activity reported by neighbors.

They found a door kicked in at a house on Colgate Avenue and saw two teenagers running from the house.

Both teens were arrested.

Deputies say there have been at least six burglaries in the neighborhood in recent days.

They are investigating whether the teens arrested Monday are connected to any of them.

Deputies say always call to report suspicious activity when you see it. It could end up with arrests like the ones Monday.
