HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Sheriff confirms that two Harrison Township employees are under investigation.

2 NEWS confirmed the names of the two employees, but has elected not to release them as no criminal charges have been filed.

Sheriff Phil Plummer told 2 NEWS Friday that a city administrator and an employee are involved.

He said the Harrison Township Board of Trustees requested both an internal and criminal investigation involving what Sheriff Plummer called, “possible fraudulent documents”.

The sheriff says his department will conduct a thorough investigation and decide whether any charges should be filed.
