Wife in custody after man fatally shot

GERMAN TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The wife of a shooting victim is now in police custody.

German Township police say Suzanne McNemar, 62, is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a voluntary manslaughter charge, although she is not yet formally charged.

Her husband, David McNemar, 53, was shot and killed inside a home on Friend Road Thursday night.

Police believe an argument broke out just before two shots were fired inside the home.

Officers say McNemar’s wife and two other adults were in the home at the time of the shooting.

The investigation continues. There have been no other arrests thus far.
