DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A fight in a Dayton department store prompts police to respond.

Officers were called to Roses Department Store located at 3243 West Siebenthaler Avenue Saturday around 8 p.m.

Officers spoke with the victim who said 38-year-old Johnathan Durrough got mad at her inside the store because he believed she was cheating on him. The victim said he assaulted her and then left. Reports also stated the suspect was yelling at customers and employees inside the store.

Police found Durrough standing inside Citi Trends clothing store in the same shopping center and took him into custody.

Officers reported on the way to jail, Durrough threatened them saying he was going to hire the Ku Klux Klan to kill them. He also reportedly threatened them by saying they’d need backup when they arrived at the jail because he was planning on assaulting them.

Durrough faces charges of menacing and domestic violence. He is expected to appear in court Monday.
