DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton day care was hit by vandals.

Police were called to the Steps Day Care located at 1930 North Main Street Saturday around 8 p.m. after an alarm sounded.

When officers arrived, they found the front glass door had been shattered by a fist size rock.

Police searched inside the building and said it didn’t look like anything had been disturbed. The manager arrived on scene and said she didn’t think anything was taken.

She told police the day care had been broken into a month ago in the same manner and thieves stole a television from the kids’ area.

Other employees arrived on scene to help clean up the glass and secure the building.
