DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN0 – The auto glass manufacturer Fuyao Glass America just might be one of the most popular companies in the Miami Valley right now. Prospective employees packed a Sinclair Community College auditorium Wednesday for the first information session that begins the hiring process.
The session started at 10:00 a.m. inside Sinclair’s Conference Center in the Great Hall. This is an informational session, not a hiring event, so there will be no interviews.
Participants are learning about Fuyao, job opportunities and the company’s expectations for candidates and details on how to apply.
Handouts were provided, including a resource guide, information sheet on how to establish an OhioMeansjobs account required for this application, instruction sheet on how to apply online and a registration form you’ll be asked to complete.
Applicants can also access to an electronic copy of their resume. Computers will be available for those who cannot get online elsewhere.
The event is expected to take about an hour. Add about 45 minutes if you plan to stay for resume help.
Fuyao plans to hire as many as 1,000 workers by 2016 and up to 300 people initially to have them in place by March.

- Saturday, December 13 at 10 a.m.
