Judge makes sure murder suspect stays in jail

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton murder suspect will stay behind bars.

William Brown, 19, was in Montgomery County court Tuesday. A not guilty plea was entered for him.

The judge issued a $1 million bond to keep him in jail.

Brown is accused of the April shooting death of Jatywan Easterling, 26. Easterling was shot while sitting in his truck outside Smiths Superette on Lorenz Avenue in Dayton.

He is also connected to an aggravated robbery carjacking in May and the armed robbery of a pizza delivery man in April.
