DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The man accused of attacking his mother with a screwdriver was in court Tuesday.
Jason McInturff, 37, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
McInturff is accused of attacking his 60-year-old mother inside their Corinth Boulevard home on November 26.
Officers say they arrived at the home to find McInturff digging a hole on the side of the house.
His mother had stab wounds to her head and neck, but will recover.
His next court appearance is set for December 31.
