Vigil held in honor of Amber Owens

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — A prayer vigil was held for a Dayton mother who was found dead.

Folks came together Saturday to remember and pray for Amber Owens.

The 23-year-old mother of three was found in a wooded area near Post Town Road in Trotwood December 4. She had been missing since October 21.

No arrests have yet been made. The Trotwood Police Department is continuing to investigate her death.

Meanwhile, the family has set up a trust fund in honor of Amber at JP Morgan Chase Bank.
