BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) — A rally was held Saturday near the Walmart at the RTA bus stop on Pentagon Boulevard Saturday afternoon.

About 30 people gathered on the side of the road to show their support of John Crawford III. Crawford was shot and killed by Beavercreek Police in August when he picked up a pellet gun off the shelves and carried it around the store.

The group was calling for justice for Crawford. In September, a grand jury chose not to indict the officers involved in Crawford’s death.

Some held signs Saturday calling for the indictment of the man who called 911 after Crawford picked up the gun in the store. Some folks wore “anonymous” masks.

The most recent rally was held Christmas Eve inside the Fairfield Commons Mall near the Charlotte Russe store.

Another die in was held last Saturday inside the Walmart store.
