KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – While New Years Eve is underway some local bars are getting ready for tomorrows college football game.
Kettering Buffalo Wild Wings general manager, Greg Saul has been in the business for 8 years and looks forward to the Sugarbowl each year.
“Anytime a local team does well and goes into a playoff situation like Ohio State is doing its going to be a huge day for us, we’re expecting a big turn-out” said Greg Saul, GM of the Kettering Buffalo Wild Wings.
Although he isn’t a fan of the buckeyes, he still hopes they win to bring in customers.
“I’m not a buckeyes fan, I’m actually a fan of the team up north, go blue” said Saul.
But some of the servers are proud scarlet and grey fans…like Tiffany Chilton.
“Go bucks!” said Tiffany Chilton, Buffalo Wild Wings server.
Tiffany is putting in hours throughout the football season, but says she wouldn’t have it any other way…
“Its the best money night, i wouldn’t trade it for anything, i choose to work 40 hours a week, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else” said Chilton.
With extra staffing scheduled for tomorrow…a packed house is expected when Crimson Tide faces the Buckeyes
“Chaotic, yes. Loud, yes. but its always a fun environment” said Chilton.
The Ohio State game starts at 8 tomorrow night, the Kettering Buffalo Wild Wings has over 50 TV’s. Most of which will be showing the game.
The restaurant does not take reservations and suggests getting there early for seating.
