Home invasion suspects arrested in Sidney

SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) – Two men are being held in the Shelby County Jail in connection with a home invasion Thursday night.

Sidney Police say Justin and Zach Poore kicked in the door of a home on East Court Street and attacked two men inside. One of the suspects had a knife.

Police say the victims, a father and son, fought back, injuring the suspects, who ran away.

A short time later, medics and officers were dispatched to a home on Apache Drive. There, officers found Justin and Zach Poore, who were visibly injured.

Zach Poore, 19, was taken to Wilson Hospital but was later discharged. Justin Poore, 24, refused medical treatment.

After searching both houses, police arrested the Poores and charged them with aggravated burglary and felonious assault.
