MVDSA takes center stage at UD halftime show

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dancers with Down syndrome took the stage at the UD women’s Flyers’ half-time show Sunday.

The Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association and Smile Awhile Dance Studio performed at UD Arena at the Women’s basketball game.

The performance gave kids and adults with Down syndrome the opportunity to showcase the dances they’ve been working on.

The crowd went wild and cheered on the dancers during the upbeat performance.

Smile Awhile’s goal is to give everyone a chance to dance.
