Thieves break into Dayton heating business

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are looking for thieves who broke into a Dayton heating business and stole tools.

Officers were called to C. G. Egli Inc. located at 515 Springfield Street Saturday around 6:30 p.m. The company specializes in heating systems.

The owner told police the gate to the backyard of the property was opened and someone had stolen tools from the business. A company truck was also broken into, and bags of tools were left behind a dumpster.

According to the police report, at least $200 worth of tools were taken.

No arrests have been made and police don’t have any suspect information at this time.
