MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Another new tenant is heading to Austin Landing in Miami Township.

Marriott Residence Inn will be the second hotel chain to open there, following in the footsteps of the Hilton Garden Inn.

The Residence Inn is an extended stay facility with suites that include separate sleeping and living areas allowing guests to stay for longer periods of time.

“We’re so pleased that Doug Steinke, Tom Shoemaker, and their group will be bringing another high end hotel to Austin Landing. The same partners opened the highly successful Hilton Garden Inn. It speaks volumes that they are interested in making another significant investment in Austin Landing,” said Jeff Stickel of RG Properties.

The Residence Inn will have 100 rooms to start, with an additional 25 possible for expansion.

“We’re really excited to be offering an extended stay hotel of this quality to Dayton area visitors. Our goal is to make sure that no matter how long your trip may be, staying at one of our hotels is always a pleasant experience. Austin Landing offers all the amenities that our guest desire – entertainment, shopping, and restaurants. We are excited to be a growing part of this project,” partner, Doug Steinke said.

Ground breaking is set for June 2015.
