Heroin team cracking down on drug

CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) – A newly formed task force is cracking down on heroin use in Mercer County.

The Heroin Interdiction Team served a warrant at a home in the 1000 block of Hemlock Street Tuesday.

They found 25 capsules of suspected heroin, two handguns and drug paraphernalia inside the house.

Steven Noggler, 24, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for contempt of court in a separate case.

The HIT team is made up of Celina police officers and Mercer County Sheriff deputies.
