DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man is accused of tossing a brick through a car window, shattering glass all over his 2-year-old son.

Police were called to the 4600 block of Dayton Liberty Road Tuesday morning to investigate.

Their report says the boy’s mother was talking to her estranged husband about concerns that their son was limping.

It goes on to say the woman would not allow Lamar McKinney to go with them to the hospital. He became upset and threw the brick through the rear window. The boy was sitting in a car seat in the back seat at the time.

He was not hurt by the flying shards of glass, but his mother says he had glass all over him.

McKinney was arrested and taken to jail on a child endangering charge.
