DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An auto parts store worker didn’t encounter one gunman. He was robbed by three.
Dayton police were called to the O’Reilly Auto Parts in the 4300 block of West Third Street Tuesday night.
They were met by a worker who said three armed men walked into the store. One said, “You know what this is”.
The police report says the men forced the worker to open the cash register and they swiped the cash.
The report goes on to say the gunmen also took the employee’s cell phone and a $20 bill from his pocket.
Police say the suspects did not fire off any shots.
They got away in a white Chevy Malibu.
All three suspects were wearing all black clothing at the time and each had their faces covered with some type of mask.
They are all described as 5’10” to 6′ tall with thin builds.
Police found the cell phone later at Germantown and Randolph streets, but no suspects.
