Regional strategy for growth

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – For the Dayton region, 2014 was a big year for economic development. Jeff Hoagland, President and CEO of the Dayton Development Coalition, says our region saw more than 3,500 job commitments with a committed payroll of nearly $140 million. Some of the big wins include Fuyao Glass America and Procter & Gamble.

Moving into the new year, Hoagland says he’s focused on the long-term success of the region. He says the DDC’s primary focus, and will continue to be, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
