DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A fight at a Dayton Denny’s leads to two people behind bars.
Lafeon Hamilton, 27, and Danyell Ford, 25, were arrested on disorderly conduct charges. Hamilton also faces an assault charge and Ford was also charged with resisting arrest.
Police were called to the Denny’s located at 1136 South Main Street around 4:30 a.m. Saturday on reports of a fight. When officers arrived on scene, they reported Hamilton and another man were running from the scene and three women and a man were arguing and screaming in the parking lot.
Police said Ford was yelling and tried to get in a car to leave. Officers warned her not to leave the scene until they could decipher what was happening. Police reported that Ford became combative and they had to handcuff her.
The victim told police a fight originally broke out inside the restaurant between two groups of people and Hamilton hit her in the face.
UD Police caught up with Hamilton who ran from the scene and transported him back to the Denny’s parking lot.
Officers also stated that the other man who ran from the scene had hit another woman.
Police talked with Denny’s manager and reviewed the surveillance footage from inside the restaurant.
Hamilton and Ford were booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
