DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Saturday is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and Robert Harrison from Public Health Dayton and Montgomery County is encouraging people to take the first step and get tested. It is free and he says early diagnosis is key. He says African Americans are disproportionately impacted by HIV/AIDS. Harrison talks about why that is, and where free, confidential testing will be available Saturday in the Miami Valley.
