WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The man accused of videotaping a teen at a tanning salon is now formally charged.

The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office approved one count of voyeurism against Dalton Hines, 53.

Hines, who works for the Trotwood Public Works Department, is accused of recording a teenaged girl with his phone at the Hot Spot Tanning Salon on Miamisburg-Centerville Road.

Deputies say these types of crimes are becoming more common since most people carry a phone with a camera installed.

They say Hines was driving a city owned vehicle on the night he’s accused of committing the crime.

He is now awaiting his day in court.
