Firefighters trade turnouts for kilts!

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – “St. Patrick’s Day is a time that everyone likes to celebrate, so we figure why not take the celebration and do something good with it,” said Cole Nisewonger, public information officer for Dayton Firefighters Local 136. He is talking about two big fundraisers the firefighters have coming up: t-shirt sales and an event at Flanagan’s Pub on March 17. They benefit a scholarship fund for children of firefighters, and proceeds will also help a Trotwood Police detective’s son battling cancer.
