MADISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Fire crews are investigating a double barn fire in Butler County.

The scene is in the 6700 block of West Alexandria Road in Madison Township. The road is closed between Elk Creek and Hursh roads while fire crews investigate.

Firefighters say straw and hay in one barn fueled the fire that spread to a second barn around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday.

We’re told there was no livestock in either barn.

No one was hurt.
