Police arrest suspect in gas station shooting

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Fairborn police have made an arrest for the shooting of a gas station clerk.

Police have Andrew Huey, 24, in custody. He is accused of robbing the Mobil Gas Station at 750 E. Xenia Drive on Saturday, February 7.

The store clerk was shot during the robbery attempt.

Police found Huey hiding in a residence on Grove Street in Fairborn on Wednesday. He was arrested for an existing burglary warrant against him.

He was charged Thursday with aggravated robbery and felonious assault.

The store clerk will recover.

Huey is in the Fairborn City Jail.
