DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Be on the lookout for snow showers Thursday.

They shouldn’t be too much of a burden, but the Miami Valley could see up to an inch in some areas.

“You might see some intense snow falling at times that could cause some slick roads,” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik.

The temperatures are also taking a plunge. They will fall through the teens Thursday. Wind chills could be as low as -5.

The low Thursday night is in only 8.

“You have to really love the cold to enjoy the weekend,” said Jarosik. “Snow showers will still be around, but we’re talking temperatures that will struggle to get out of the teens.”

You will want to keep a close eye on Live Doppler 2 HD to track the snow showers, especially during the morning commute. Also, remember to check our live Traffic Alert cameras to see road conditions as you head out.
