WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies set up a perimeter around the Shell gas station on Far Hills Avenue after an early morning robbery.

The clerk told deputies a man came into the store around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and flashed a gun that was tucked into his waistband. The suspect demanded cash and then ran off. The clerk was not hurt.

The suspect was wearing all black and had a blue bandanna covering his face.

A K-9 officer from the Miamisburg Police Department was called to help track the suspect, but the search turned up empty.

Officers say someone with a similar description robbed a Shell at 3151 East Dorothy Lane about a half hour before.
