MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) – Fricker’s is hiring for more than 130 positions at its newest location.
The Miamisburg Fricker’s, located in the former Lone Star Steakhouse at 251 Springboro Pike, is accepting applications inside the restaurant from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. every day.
2 NEWS has been told the restaurant will open its doors on March 11, pending inspection.
The positions available are all at an hourly wage.
Paul Curtis, Fricker’s director of franchising, says they’re still looking for quality individuals looking for a job.
“We’ve hired quite a few people so far, but there’s always room for good ones,” Curtis said.
The new location is approximately two miles away from another Fricker’s on Route 725.
“We know they’ll be loss from that store, but over time we believe our store on 725 will rebuild,” Curtis said.
The location will boast more than 65 wide-screen televisions, including three 80 inch TVs located over the horseshoe bar. Additionally, patrons will be able to eat on a covered patio which will also feature several outdoor TVs.
Curtis says the reason for building on Springboro Pike is twofold. He says a fire destroyed a former location in West Carrollton more than six years ago and he’s hoping clientele in Moraine and West Carrollton will be satisfied with a shorter drive.
