Who shot protected bald eagle in Preble County?

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources wants to find out who shot a bald eagle in Preble County.

ODNR says the bird was found northeast of Eaton around February 21.

Bald and golden eagles are protected species under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

A reward is offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspected poacher.
