Fairborn man guilty of child rape

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – A Fairborn man found guilty of raping a child will be sentenced this week.

The Xenia Daily Gazette reports that Howard Reeves, 67, was convicted on three counts of child rape and five counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Reeves gave the victims gifts like cash, a cell phone and pocket knives in exchange for sex.

He has a previous child rape conviction from 2001.

Sentencing is set for Thursday.
