Teen in Dayton Mall shooting to be tried as an adult

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The teen involved in the deadly Dayton Mall shooting will be tried as an adult.

Tuesday, a motion was granted for Keyon Moore, 16, to be tried as an adult. Moore is charged with involuntary manslaughter and robbery.

Jawaad Jabbar, 16, was shot dead after police say he, Moore, and another teen tried to rob a man at gunpoint of his new Jordan sneakers. That man had a valid concealed carry permit and a gun, which he legally used.
