Bank employees robbed of money bag


URBANA, Ohio (WDTN) – Urbana police are investigating after two bank employees were robbed in the parking lot.

Police were called to the Security National Bank at 848 Scioto Street just after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.

They say the employees were at the ATM machine when a man approached and demanded they hand him a bag they were holding. He said he had a gun, but it was not seen.

The employee dropped the bag. The suspect picked it up and ran off. He later jumped into a car driven by a woman.

The suspect is described as in his mid 20s, with a medium build and weighing 200 pounds.

He was wearing a stocking over his face and dark colored sweatshirt at the time.

The car police are looking for is a white Mercury Sable with Ohio license plate FWA 1560.
