SANDUSKY, Ohio (WDTN) – You could be among the first to ride Cedar Point’s new Rougarou floorless roller coaster.

A fundraising auction will benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation. The first 64 riders will be the top bidders.

You’ll receive commemorative merchandise and two free passes to the park. The top eight bidders will also receive a LeBron James St. Vincent-St. Mary High School basketball jersey.

The special ride day is Friday, May 8 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

“We are thrilled to be working with Cedar Point on this unique first rider opportunity that for us, is far more than a roller coaster ride,” said Michele Campbell, Executive Director of the LeBron James Family Foundation. “Not only will participants get the thrill of riding Rougarou first, but they will help us continue our mission of positively affecting the lives of children and young adults right here in Ohio.”

A minimum bid of $123.00 will get you a first ride and a commemorative medallion.

Bidding is open now through Sunday, May 3.
