MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) – Upper Miamisburg Road is back open after being closed for several hours due to a single car accident.

The accident happened at the 700 block of Upper Miamisburg Road at around 3:30 a.m. Police say a car traveling northbound crashed into a tree.

According to police, a resident pulled one person from the car and then grabbed buckets of water to put out the car fire.

The front passenger of the car had to be cut out from the car.

All five inside the car were in their late teens.

Their conditions aren’t known.

Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
