He’s now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault and disorderly conduct.

According to a police report, Rahier and his girlfriend were arguing over a bar tab. At one point, police say Rahier grabbed a rock and hit his girlfriend in the head. She fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

She was later treated at a hospital.

He played in 223 games over the last two years as the starting third baseman for the Dragons. He’s not expected to return to the team this year.
