LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) – A new judge is now seated for the trial of the man who triggered an interstate chase and shooting.

Judge Joseph Kirby of the Warren County Common Pleas Court will now hear the case against Terry Froman, 41.

Froman is charged with aggravated murder in Ohio and murder and kidnapping in Kentucky.

He is accused of killing a teenager in Kentucky back in September 2014 then driving the teen’s mother to Ohio where she was found dead inside his car along Interstate 75 in Monroe.

Judge Robert Peeler decided to excuse himself from the case after prosecutors argued there was a conflict of interest.

A scheduling conference is set for next week.
