WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WDTN) – A Wapakoneta police dog sniffed out some pot during a weekend traffic stop.

Officers stopped a car on Defiance Street at Glynwood Road just after midnight Saturday for an equipment violation.

The dog ended up finding about a half pound of marijuana on one of the passengers.

Police say Eric Vaughn, 21, of Waynesfield, is now in the Auglaize County Jail on a drug charge.

The driver was cited for driving without a license and having a license plate light out.
