CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN)  -The Flying Pig Marathon is teaming up with Lauren Hill to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

WLWT reports Lauren’s Fight for Cure will be a charity partner for this year’s marathon. Hill is a student at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati who is battling terminal brain cancer. In November, she achieved her dream of scoring in a college basketball game.

A group of volunteers will be stationed at mile 22 for Lauren’s No. 22, where people can stop and do the Layup 4 Lauren challenge.

They’re looking for 60 people to volunteer to cheer on participants. You can register online.
