DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Water Street District development will take a big step forward Thursday.
Developers, business leaders, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley and residents will come together to break ground on Dayton’s new downtown rental housing development. The ceremony is at 11 a.m.
The development, which will be near Fifth Third Field, will have 215 apartments that will be available for rent in late August. Tenants will have access to a swimming pool and fitness center membership.
PNC Bank will anchor another part of the $45 million development, a 50,000-square foot office building on Patterson Boulevard. There will also be a three-level parking garage for the public.
