11-year-old dies in two-car crash

LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – Troopers say an 11-year old was killed in a two car crash in Logan County.

The crash happened at approximately 5:00 Monday afternoon on U.S. 68 near Township Road 219 in Lake Township.

According to a press release, a car driven by Jacob W. Strobridge, 31, of Bellefontaine lost control on Northbound 68 and hit another car driven by Kayla M. Fryer, 27, of Dayton.

Troopers say a passenger in Strobridge’s car, identified as 11-year old Connor Strobridge, was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The two drivers were also taken to Mary Rutan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Trooper are investigating the crash but say poor road conditions may be to blame.
