‘Dayton Bizarre’ will showcase business, art

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A new monthly street festival will be held on the first Friday and Saturday of each month in the Oregon District.

“Dayton Bizarre” will be a cross between a street fair, art exhibit and sideshow. The event is a joint project between the Oregon District Business Association and the Downtown Dayton Partnership.

Event organizers said over 40 businesses will participate in Dayton Bizarre. The businesses will combine forces with artists and street performers to pack the streets of the Oregon District.

Amelia O’ Down helped organize the event and said, “It’s all about creating a vibrant street level party that showcases the amazing independent businesses that call The Oregon District home.”

The first Dayton Bizarre will be held on Friday, April 3 from 5 – 10 p.m. and Saturday, April 4th from noon to – 5 p.m. The event will continue on the first Friday and following Saturday of each month.
