Firefighters extinguish Vandalia electrical fire

VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) – Firefighters battled an electrical fire on Brown School Road Tuesday morning.

The fire started in the basement of the home at 77 S. Brown School Road. The fire was put out by firefighters using foam instead of water.

The family and an animal are being relocated as a result of the fire. Firefighters did not give WDTN an estimate on the amount damage.

The intersection of Brown School Road and National Road was blocked off while firefighters were on the scene.
