CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) – Wright State presented expansion plans for the Lake Campus as part of a $150 million fundraising campaign.
Some of the goals of the expansion will be an advanced manufacturing center, an athletic and recreation complex and a water quality research center.
The school has reached an agreement to buy land by its Celina campus.
Wright State President David R. Hopkins said, “This is prime real estate adjacent to the Lake Campus that will allow us to grow and expand for years to come. This is a beautiful gesture for our campus, our community, and future generations of Lake Campus students.”
The capital campaign is the largest in the school’s history.
The Lake Campus has been a major avenue of growth for Wright State, bringing in students from the I-75 corridor and western Ohio.
